Aircraft DH 9 serial D5578 was shot down by 6 enemy aircraft over Kayam and crashed at Leke-Ghistelle on 20/4/18. The Pilot Lt B.W. Robinson was wounded in action and taken POW. Sadly the Observer Sgt T.J. Wills was killed.
