Cyril John Bennett is marked in red
According to his records he was with 49 Squadron at RAF Scampton from 26th August 1939 until February 1940.
He then spent 28 days at RAF Kinloss Flight Training School.
He returned to 49 squadron on the 21st March1940 as LAC.
On 1-8-1941 he was at 7 STT for 2.5 months before returning to 49 Squadron at RAF Scampton on the 17th October 1941.
In January 1942 he moved to 287 squadron in Croydon.
He did not return to 49 squadron but went to 2 Squadron for 5 months before going with 2 Squadron to India in October 1942 and later Ceylon with 205 squadron.
His effective date of release from the RAF was the 21st February 1946.
