The Bentley 2016

Sadly, grey skies and low cloud prevented any fly past taking place

However, the delicious (as always) lunch prepared by the "Village Hall Ladies" lifted spirits

The guests chat and enjoy the lunch in the Fiskerton Village Hall.

The spectacular 100th anniversary cake baked by Mrs Jan Norman. The 12" cake weighed approximately 27lbs and contained 6lb fruit, 14 eggs, 4.5lb marzipan and 5.5 lb icing sugar. It took 8 hours to bake and about 4 hours to cover in marzipan and icing. Many additional hours were spent perfecting the text and squadron crest.

The splendid table settings await the diners at the Bentley Hotel. Commemorative pens and key-rings are placed in each glass.
