Norman Wolland joined the squadron in the last few weeks of the war at RAF Fulbeck in Lincolnshire.
He was a rear gunner in Lancasters and, with his crew piloted by W/O Harley, he flew an operation in a Lancaster before end of the war.
They went to Lutzkendorf on the 8th April 1945 in ME471 'K' for King.
Sgt Wolland was stationed both at Mepal and Upwood post-war.
