F/Lt Jim Raw-Rees completed 50 operations with Coastal Command, 49 Sqn and 463 RAAF Sqn as a Rear Gunner.
He became a High Sherriff of the County (Aberystwyth), President of the British Legion and the RAF Club and was also a County Councillor.
