The story of Sgt P O Camm

The documents (Parts 1&2) downloadable from this page is the result of much detailed research by Philip and Audrey Walker of the Belton Historical Society.
The document is part of a project to tell the story of Belton's fallen heroes during WW2 (Sgt Camm's home village).

Sgt Philip Camm was a Flight Engineer on Lancaster JB727 which, it is believed, collided with another 49Sqn Lancaster JB231 during a raid on Berlin.
After the reunification of Germany more information about the fate of the two crews came to light.
