Ted Cachart

Ted was a long-time member of the association and being a computer and communications buff assisted Tom and Uncle Will to move into the 21st century.
Both readily admitted to being ‘computer blind’ and Ted was a great help in this area.
He also assisted in organising our reunions and the boot of his car always had a range of items to sell to support Association funds!
His greatest contribution was assisting John Ward to publish the squadrons’ operational history ‘Beware The Dog at War’.
He was also the author of his own life story, 'Ted the Lad'.
With a new ‘crew’ formed in 2006, Ted was our mentor and friend until it was his turn to enter hospital and 'Failed to Return' in 2013.
