Information received from Dave McCracken:
On demob Albert started and ran several successful small businesses from Heating to Block Paving companies, all within the Codsall area which is just outside Wolverhampton.
He kept in regular contact with his mid-upper A/G crew mate ‘Mac’ until the last few years.
Uncle Albert died in May 2010.
While sorting through a small suitcase I found several pencil drawings he made some of which are on the reverse of bomb plot paper.
Does anybody know which airfield would have such a view?
