Crew details via Steve Stephens:
Myself, Sergeant (air signaller) handled all long range communications for the flight, obtaining radio position lines and fixes for the plotter, position reporting to air traffic controls etc etc. All this carried out using HF WT (Morse) transmissions; the radio receiver was quite good, favoured today by some radio hams; the transmitter however was underpowered rubbish. You could work like a beaver if radio conditions were bad or as in my case Morse was not your posh subject. The 'Siggy' was also supposed to know something about the aircraft electrical system.
