Sgt Morris died of an illness when he was attached to 1659 Heavy Conversion Unit and is buried at Dishforth Cemetery.



Further details:
On the 8th June 1943, AUS404873 F/Sgt Victor James MORRIS RAAF, an observer, reported sick at 1700 hours having had a headache for 8 hours which was progressively getting more severe. He was admitted to hospital and died at 2330 hours. A post mortem revealed an Extradural Haemorrhage caused by a fractured skull.

The cause of the fractured skull is unknown.
