We are grateful to Mr Cyril Hunter for the above information.

In July 1943 Cyril was in the 119 (Scunthorpe) Squadron Air Training Corp and along with about 20 other cadets was sent to Fiskerton for a weeks camp to experience life in the RAF before being called up.
Cyril was asigned to F/Sgt Edy and his crew for a NFT during the day in Lancaster LM337 (S-Sugar).

Unfortunately, LM337 was lost in August 1943.

Whilst in the Sgt's Mess, Cyril collected a range of signatures and arranged these with a set of wings presented to him by Sgt Edy.

The original (see below) is in the care of the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.
