Sgt Bunting was posted out to 14 OTU Cottesmore after completing an amazing 41 Hampden operations as navigator and bomb aimer.
His first operation was on the 21st December 1939 and the second was on the 5th April 1940.
Sgt Bunting's final operation was the 22nd September 1940 to Le Havre.
F/Sgt Bunting was KIA with 408Sqn RCAF on 16/01/42 and is buried in Otley, Yorkshire.
