30th June 1918:
Flying a DH9 serial C2188, Lt Allen crashed on a practice flight.
1st July 1918:
Flying a DH9 serial C1176, Lt Allen had to force land twice at Stour and Neufoilee.
8th August 1918:
Attacked by enemy aircraft during a low level bombing operation near Pont le Brie & Amiens flying a DH9 (serial C2196).
His Observer, Lt J Ross was killed in the attack.
