Journey to Moose Jaw

This document is written by Somerville Galloway and describes his journey from RAF Tern Hill to the flight training camp at Moose Jaw in Canada.

It begins with a letter written to his family. This is followed by a diary describing the journey and then conditions at the camp.

Sadly, Flight Lieutenant Somerville Galloway was destined to be killed with his crew in 1945 whilst flying their 26th operation.

Two small images are shown here but larger versions and other pictures can be viewed on the WW2 Gallery 6 page .
